Therapy for Teenage Girls

Teenagers today face unique challenges, and a as parent, it can be difficult to know how to assist your teen with the issues they’re facing. That’s where we come in! We are dedicated to helping today's teens navigate their unique challenges and emerge into happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult women. We'll provide a safe and comfortable space where teens can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a positive way.

Below are a few ways therapy can help improve your teen's well-being.

Make Friends

Teens with healthy self-esteem form healthy friendships. When you are confident in your own skin, you are less likely to fall victim to negative peer pressure as means to connecting with others. Healthy self-esteem is necessary for setting firm but kind boundaries.

End Negative Self-talk

Teens with low self-esteem tend to have negative self-talk. Their inner dialogue consists of disparaging comments such as "I am stupid", "I can't do it", "no one likes me", "I am ugly", or "I always do everything wrong". Having healthy self-esteem eliminates negative self-talk leaving your teen feeling empowered, confident, and happy!

Better School/Sport Performance

Self-esteem and confidence is needed for academic success and high performance in sport/extracurricular activity. Healthy levels of self-esteem will help your teen bounce back after failure or adversity. Teens with low self-esteem may experience mental blocks, hesitate to try new things, and give-up easily.

Love, Like, and Accept Yourself

The most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. With my help, your teen will learn to like, love, and accept themselves, just as they are. Having a healthy level of self-esteem is necessary for positive mental health, and will allow your teen to enjoy life's journey!
